Between showing reining horses as a professional, coaching clients in Non Pro competition, and developing national caliber prospects, Kim Diercks has established herself as a respected and successful trainer within the reining horse industry.

Since 1986, Kim has been showing reining horses in NRHA, AQHA and APHA competition. She has excelled at every level of the industry, from 3 year old futurities through USET events. Diercks now has over $122,000 in NRHA lifetime earnings and is a multiple NRHA Open Futurity Finalist, NRHA Open Derby Finalist, and NRBC Finalist.

Kim DiercksRecent accomplishments for Kim include winning the NRHA Int. Open Derby Reserve Championship in 2002. At the 2003 NRHA Derby, Kim was the only rider to bring back all three of her mounts to the Int. Open Finals. She also made the Int. Open finals at the NRHA Futurity that same year.

In breed competion, Diercks has won several National and World tiles in the Morgan and Paint horse associations. As a respected professional, the Wisconsin trainer has been featured in training articles in numerous national equine magazines, including the NRHA Reiner.

And while Kim has been a force in the showpen herself, she has also coached her Non Pros to many major wins. In the last several years, it has become commonplace for her Non Pro clients to secure top finishes in the NRHA Non Pro Futurity, the NRHA Non Pro Derby, and the NRBC.

Among Kim's successful clients is Chad Clark, a multiple NRHA Futurity finalist and the 2002 NRHA Non Pro Futurity Champion riding Tootsie Pop. Kim also coaches Sally Broten, one of the all time leading Non Pro riders and the 2002 NRHA Non Pro Futurity Reserve Champion riding Mega Angelena.

Sarah Hunt, another of Kim's winning Non Pro clients, has $42,000 in NRHA earnings and several NRHA Non Pro Futurity Finalists to her credit. Also a NRHA Futurity Finalist is Non Pro client, Steve Harris.

In a testament to Kim's skills at training Non Pro mounts and coaching their riders, at the 2001 Futurity, Kim had 4 clients enter the Non Pro Futurity, and all made the finals.
